The truck manufacturer Daimler AG, presents at he the Truck vehicles fair (IAA) in Hannover, up to 11 vehicle with an altenative propulsion system, including the three Mercedes-Benz rules.
The main truck manufacturer, uses the propulsion systems according to the environment rules – type hybrid, gas and fuel battery technic.
The target of these propulsion technics is to drastically reduce the fuel consumption and the emissions of the truck traffic.
Mercedes-Benz presents three hybrid rules included at the truck Axor BlueTec Hybrid, the first hybrid prototype for large distances transport.
For short distance transports, Mercedes-Benz has equiped the model Econic with two hybrid versions : the Econic BlueTec Hybrid, with diesel motor and the ECONIC NGT Hybrid, a prototype truck with a motor runned by natural gas.
Nowdays, several units of 12 ton. Truck Mercedes-Benz Atego BlueTec Hybrid, are being used as testers, for the company DHL in Germany.
